UNB, Laxmipur :
A fisherman was beaten to death during a clash over stealing a fishing net at Tanki Bazar in Ramgati upazila on Tuesday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Saheb Ali, a resident of Bayarchar. Police said Baharuddin, a fisherman of the area, alleged that Saheb Ali had stolen some of his fishing nets. The clash ensued when Bahar, along with his followers, went to the house of Saheb Ali to search the latter’s house. During the clash, associates of Bahar beat up Saheb Ali mercilessly, leaving him seriously inured.
