The first anniversary of the Gonojagoron Mancha was celebrated here yesterday amidst daylong programmes.
Activists of the Gonojagoron Mancha, leaders and activists of different political parties, socio-cultural organisations and professional bodies thronged the celebration venue, Cheragi Pahar intersection to express solidarity with the Mancha.
The day’s programmes included hoisting of the national flag, recitation, songs, slogans, swearing in ceremony and rally.
The celebration began with the hoisting of the national flag and rendering of the National Anthem around 3pm.
