Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) Directorate held an iftar party at its headquarters in the capital on Saturday.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal attended the iftar party as Chief Guest while Secretary of Security Services Division Ministry of Home Affairs Md Shahiduzzaman was present as special guest. Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) Director General (DG) Brigadier General Md Sazzad Hussain presided over the programme.
Among others, Fire Service and Civil Defence officers, government officials, senior journalists, and dignitaries of other sectors of society were present in the party.
Earlier, a special prayer (munajat) was also offered seeking continued peace, progress and prosperity of the nation.
