Feni Civil Surgeon Dr. Hasan Shahriar Kabir said, democracy for development is the motto of Sheikh Hasina. Feni 250-bed Sadar Hospital is part of the development. Special care is being taken in all upazilas health complex so that everybody gets treatment.
Feni District Sadar Hospital has been reformed significantly. High powered air-conditioned has been installed at the Gynaecology Operation Theatre. Corridor has been constructed to connect the new building with the old one so that patients, their attendants, doctors, employees, officials and directors can move uninterrupted.
In order to ensure strict security in the hospital, 14 CC cameras have been installed. The hospital authorities have arranged lift system and Dental Unit.
MP Nizam Uddin Hazari, the health department and district administration have worked hard to make the hospital ultra-modern.
The following schemes are under process: IPS has been installed in the two operation theaters and the administrative buildings; The hospital beds are increased to 250 from 100; and two 500 M M X-Ray machines are purchased.
Like as Sadar Hospital the development of health sector in other upazilla health complex is going on. The result of digital Bangladesh the face book account has opened all health institutions. The necessary step has been taken due to the message from face book, messenger. The face book ID and face book page open for all time. All kind of health institution (govt./ private) are free smoking zone. As the part of innovation activities “priority health card of senior citizen” programmee is going on in Dagonbhuian upazilla. The name of Chagalniya upazilla has sent to implementation two innovative programmee “facilitate out door help in govt. hospital” and “to reduce maternal and baby mortality by the help of maternal and baby in community”. The caesarian section has been opened at Dagonbhuian upazilla health complex. The cleanness has assured all government hospital and clinic. CC camera has been installed in trauma center. The Chikangunia help desk has been set up in all upazilla health complex. To implementation of EPI activities the steps has taken. Kizen has implemented.
