UNB, Dhaka :A female senior judicial magistrate was injured as some muggers dragged down her on road by grabbing her bag at Tikatuli in the capital early Sunday.The injured was identified as Lubna Jahan, 35, a senior judicial magistrate of Tangail district. Lubna, a resident of Dinnath Sen Road area of Gendaria in the capital, was going to Kamalapur Railway Station riding a rickshaw on way to her workplace in Tangail on Sunday morning.When she reached in front of Salauddin Specialised Hospital at Tikatuli, two muggers pulled off the vanity bag of Lubna in a desperateattempt to take it away and as the bag strap was wrapped around her hand, she fell down from the rickshaw around 5:30am and received injuries.Later the victim went to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where she received primary treatment, said hospital sources.There were Tk8,000, a mobile phone set, her national identity card and office ID card and some official documents in the bag, which the bandits snatched away, said Lubna.
