Fazlur Rahman Babu is popularly known as an actor. Besides acting, he renders song well. Basically after rendering song for Gias Uddin Selim directed popular film Monpura he came into limelight as a singer in media. Though he gave his voice for many mixed album he has only solo number titled Dubadubi in the market. It was released few years ago under the banner of Sangeeta.
This time Babu is coming with his second solo album titled Hiramon Pakhi. It will be released under the banner of CMV. There will be seven songs in the album. Nazir Mahmud composed music of the songs of this album, while Mushfiq Litu gave music direction. Yesterday was Babu’s birthday. On August 21, he has finished recording of all the songs of his new album.
While talking about his coming solo album Babu told this correspondent, “All the songs of the album will be folk and romantic typed. Litu tried to give music direction with modern touch. Basically I am an actor. But I render song for the fulfillment of listeners’ demands. I am very much optimistic about the songs of my album.”
On August 19, Fazlur Rahman Babu acted and Tauquir Ahmed directed movie Oggatonama was released. He worked in three plays of Brindaban Das on the occasion of coming Eid.
