A farmer was found dead at Hapania village in Harirampur upazila on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Totaur Rahman, 65, of the village.
Being informed by locals, police recovered the body from a bush near his house in the morning and sent it to Manikganj Modern Sadar Hospital morgue, said Nazrul Islam, officer-in-charge of Harirampur Police Station.
The body bore several injury marks and the hands and legs were tied up, said OC.
The reason behind the killing could not be known immediately.
