Fahad still maintains solo lead in School Chess

FM Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Gulshan Model School still maintained solo lead in the open group points table of the Mohammedan International School Chess Championship with maximum five points after 5th round now being held on the Mohammedan Club Pavilion premise.
Arka Sengupta of Koltaka and Rabbi Mridha of BCSIR School shared the second slot with four points.
WFM Arpita Mukharjee of India took solo lead in the points table with maximum four points after 4th round in Girls Class 6 to 10 groups. Asmita Das of India, Nushrat Jahan Nafisa and MST Zhorna Begum of Bibi Morium School are in 2nd position with three points.
Sayantan Mukharjee of India took lead in the points table of boys class 5 to 7 group with full five points after 5th round. Nova Tasha of DPS STS School and Jamim Al Hamid of Moulvibazar shared the second slot along with four points.
Jannatul Ferdous of Ideal Primary School earned full five points after 5th round and solo lead in the points table of girls class 3 to 5 group, Rumaysa Hasnat of DPS STS School is in second position with four points.
Mahmud Sharif of Ideal School & College and Abdullah Al Shahran Saikot of Khulshi Child Grammar School took joint lead in the points table of boys class 3 to 4 group with 4.5 points after fifth round.
Tahsin Tajwar Zia of Saint Jude’s School and Swarnova Choudhury of Wills Little Flowers School took joint lead in class KG to 2 group with 4.5 points each after 5th round.
Meanwhile in the 5th round games on Friday, Fahad beat Rafshan, Sayantan split points with Akib, Rabbi beat Rahat, Sharif beat Murad, Saikot beat Ramim, Jannat beat Jarefah, Rumaysa beat Maliath, Swarnova beat Farah, Tahsin beat Junayed, Sayatan beat Simato Das, Jamim beat Ismum and Nova beat Mehrab.
In the girls 6 to 10: Arpita beat Asmita, Zhorna beat Sraboni and Nafisa got walk-over against Farea.
