A 33-member executive committee of Jahangirnagar University Journalist Association Alumni Association (JUJAAA) was formed recently at a private university in the city.
Syed Shahidul Haque Manju, former student of JU Economic Department and Kaji Jakir Hossain, former student of Bangla Department, were elected president and secretary respectively of the committee for the next two years.
The other office-bearer are: Prof Fakir Rafiqual Islam, Syed Abdal Ahmed and Abdus Salam, Vice-Presidents. Alamgir Swapan and Zunaid Ali Saki, Joint Secretaries, Rezaul Haque Kawshik, Treasurer, Rehman Atik, Organising Secretary, Belal Hossain Rahat and Moudud Ahmed Sujan, Assistant Organising Secretaries, Waliullah Oli, ICT Secretary, Kamran Siddqui, Office Secretary, Zakaria Polash, International Affairs Secretary, Humayun Kabir, Press and Publication Secretary, Mukimul Ahsan Himel, Assistant Press and Publication Secretary, Fazla Elahi Chowdhury, Cultural and Sports Secretary and Bachchu Sheikh Robin, Assistant Cultural and Sports Secretary.
The executive members are: Ekramul Karim, Anwarul Islam, Anisur Rahman Babu, Farid Ahmed, Dr M Moniruzzaman, Shela Kabir, Abdullha Al Mohon, Hadiuzzaman Shourav, Majhbah Uddin Tuhin, Harun-Ur-Rashid, Golam Robbani Bikash and Khairul Hasan Munna.
