Deputy Secretary (Retd) of the Government of Bangladesh Abdul Mannan Chowdhury passed away in the early hours of Wednesday at a hospital in the city. He was 89.
He left behind wife, three daughters, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
Mannan was buried at Banani Graveyard in the city after Namaz-e-Janaza after Zohr Prayers on Wednesday.
He was also Executive Secretary of Bangladesh Scouts.
