BSS, Dhaka :
Special correspondent Enamul Haque Babul and News Editor Shawkat Ali were elected Unit Chief and Deputy Unit Chief respectively of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) unit of the Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) for a two-year term.
The election was held on Thursday at the central news room of BSS, the national news agency where more than 90 per cent of eligible voters participated.
A five-member panel headed by president of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) Manjurul Ahsan Bulbul conducted the poll.
BFUJ joint secretary Saiful Islam Talukder was the member-secretary of the five member panel.
