When Eid comes, National Film Award winner actress Poppy works in the small screen. As a part of its continuation, she worked in two plays on the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Fitr. She started shooting of a play before Ramzan, while shooting of a telefilm began on June 10 at Pubail in Gazipur.
Under the direction of Sadeque Siddiqui Poppy is acting in the telefilm titled Kushum Purer Kushum Koli in which love story between Kushum and Koli will be portrayed. Poppy is acting in role of Kushum, while popular film actor Emon is playing the role of Koli in the telefilm.
Besides acting in the big screen, Emon is now also engaged with small screen. He is working in the small screen regularly now. In support with Aditya Joni Sadeque Siddiqui is making the telefilm. Due to scorching heat Poppy and Emon are taking part in shooting of the telefilm only for good story, they said.
While talking about the telefilm Poppy told this correspondent, “Story of Kushum Purer Kushum Koli is really nice. My role is very challenging. Earlier I worked under Sadeque Siddiqui’s direction. I worked with Emon in the big screen before. For the first time we are working together. Overall I am very much optimistic about this work. For this reason, I am working with full of dedication and sincerely.”
After a break of five years Emon is working with Poppy on the screen. He said, “During that time I was a newcomer actor and Poppy Madam was a superstar. Despite being a newcomer actor Poppy Madam cooperated me so much that I couldn’t forget that. After five years, I am observing same cooperation from her while working with her which really impresses me. Still now I am getting huge support from her which is really unbelievable.”
The telefilm will be aired on SA TV in Eid. Poppy and Emon first worked together in G Sarkar directed movie Garments Konnya in 2012, which was a super-hit during that time.
Meanwhile, Poppy acted and Kaisar Ahmed directed a play titled Mental will be aired in coming Eid. Besides this, she also performed as a model in a TVC of tractor against Ilias Kanchan recently.
