Eight group matches of the Milk Man Mini Handball Tournament (boys’ & girls’) were decided on the opening day (Monday) at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium.
In the day’s opening girls’ group matches, Viqarunnisa Noon School & College beat Banani Bidyaniketon by 4-1 goals Scholastica defeated South Point School & College by 11-2 goals and BISC outplayed Dhanmondi Tutorial by 3-1 goals.
In the day’s opening boys’ group matches, Dhanmondi Tutorial defeated Manarat International School and College by 13-3 goals, Dhaka Residential School dumped South Bridge by 11-5 goals, Bangladesh International School blanked European International School by 24-0 goals, Saint Gregory’s High School thrashed Shaheed Ramizuddin School by 25-9 goals and BAF Shaheen School and College blanked Dhanmondi Tutorial by 22-0 goals.
Earlier, Chief Operating Officer of Pran Dairy Limited Anisur Rahman formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.
