A five years old girl was raped allegedly by a man of about 45 years at Sutarpur village under Kadirjongle union in Karimganj upazila of Kishoreganj district on Monday.
The suspect Md.Ali (45), son of Abul Hossion is from Sutarpur village in karimganj upazila.
Quoting Victim’s mother, locals and Karimganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mominul Islam said Md.Ali took the girl in a paddy field and raped her there while she was sleeping at her house.
Locals rescued the minor girl hearing her cry while the rapist managed to flee the spot.
She was admitted to the one-stop crisis center in Kishoreganj General Hospital.
