4,391.39 acres Rly land under illegal occupation: Minister

Railways Minister M Mazibul Haque on Saturday said various persons/organisations have grabbed some 4,391.39 acres of land owned by Bangladesh Railway (BR) across the country.“The BR has 61,820.97 acres of land, of which, 4,391.39 acres are grabbed by various persons/organisations,” the minister said while replying to a question from treasury bench member Begum Pinu Khan in the House.
