Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique condoled the death of eminent academic and former Chairman of Islamic Studies Department of the university Prof ANM Rois Uddin.
In a condolence message on Friday, he expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Rois Uddin.
The DU VC said the death of this academic is an irreparable loss in the field of education.
He prayed for peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members.
