State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder underscored the need for further gearing up cleanliness programme at the ward level to destroy the breeding grounds of aedes mosquitoes to control dengue and chikungunya.
“Ward council should be strengthened by providing necessary equipment, medicines and manpower in controlling aedes mosquitoes,” he said this on Friday while speaking at a function on dengue awareness campaign at ward number 16 under Dhaka North City Corporation.
Councilor Ward number 16 Md Matiur Rahman Mollah was present on the occasion.
