Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique on Saturday expressed deep shock at the death of Zoology Department Professor Dr. Mian M Abdul Quddus.
In a message of condolence, he said the countrymen lost a devoted teacher and a freedom fighter at the death of Prof Abdul Quddus.
The DU Vice-Chancellor prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Prof Abdul Quddus died at BIRDEM hospital at 6 am on Saturday at the age of 68.
He left behind wife, a son, two daughters and a host of admirers to mourn his death.
