Bangladesh Meteorological Department yesterday predicted dry weather over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am.
“Rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind, is likely to occur at one or two places over Chattogram division. Weather may remain mainly dry elsewhere over the country,” said a met office bulletin issued yesterday morning.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.
The highest temperature on Saturday was recorded 33.2 degrees Celsius in Syedpur under Rangpur division, while yesterday’s minimum temperature was 19 degrees Celsius in Tetulia of the same division.
The sun sets at 5:25 pm yesterday and rises at 6:01 am today in the capital.
