The Dhaka University (DU) authorities on Wednesday published the draft voter list for elections to DU Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) and hall units.
DU vice -chancellor professor Md Akhtaruzzaman published the draft voter list at Abdul Matin Chowdhury Virtual Classroom of the university around 12pm.
“A total of 38,493 regular students-23, 984 male and 14, 509 female-, can exercise their voting right during the DUCSU and hall union polls,” said the DU Vice-chancellor.
“Students of different evening masters courses, training courses and seven affiliated colleges of DU don’t have the voting right in the polls,” added Prof Akhtaruzzaman.
DU pro vice-chancellor (education) Prof Dr. Nasreen Ahmad, pro vice-chancellor (administration) prof Dr. Muhammad Samad, proctor prof AKM Golam Rabbani among others attended the programme.
