Cartoonist, writer sent to jail

Staff Reporter :Cartoonist Kabir Kishore and writer Mushtaq Ahmed were sent to jail after rejecting their bail petitions in a case filed under the Digital Security Act.Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mahmuda Akhter passed the order on Wednesday.Ramna police station Sub-Inspector Jamshedul Islam, also investigation officer of the case, produced them before the court and sought an order to keep them in jail.Earlier on Tuesday, the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Kishore and Mushtaq from city’s Kakrail and Lalmatia area respectively and...
