Traffic division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in their simultaneous drives on the city streets on Tuesday filed 5,902 cases against different modes of vehicles for traffic rule violation.
It also realized 28.52 lakh as fine for traffic rule violation, said an official release.
Of the total cases, 1074 were lodged for driving on wrong sides, 98 for using hydraulic horn, six for using hotter and beckon light and 22 others for using tinted glass.
