Daffodil International University (DIU) authority handed over a cheque for Tk 5 lac of Prime Islami Life Insurance Ltd as student life insurance risk coverage of BBA student Shaifull Talukder Mohosin to his family.
Prof Dr Yousuf M Islam, Vice Chancellor of DIU handed over the death claim insurance risk coverage to deceased father Ali Akbar Talukder on Tuesday formally at a program held at the conference room of the university. The function was also addressed among others by Hamidul Haque Khan, Treasurer, Prof Dr AKM Fazlul Haque, Acting Registrar, Mominul Haque Majumder, Director (Finance and Accounts), Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director (Students Affairs), Dr ABM Kamal Pasha, Head, Department of Environmental Science and Disaster Management, Md. Anowar Habib Kazal, Senior Assistant Director (Public Relations), Rezaul Karim Masud, Senior Assistant Director (Finance & Accounts), Md. Shahidur Rahman, Senior Vice President, Prime Islami Life Insurance Company Ltd and other high officials of both the institutions.
It may be mentioned here that DIU has brought all of its students under risk coverage of their student’s life.
