Dhaka Education Board earned a comfortable 5-0 goal victory over Chittagong district in a qualifying round match of the 31st ATN Bangla National Hockey Gold Cup Tournament at Maulana Bhashani National Stadium on Saturday.
Abeduddin, Prince Lal Samanta, Shawon Sheikh, Rohan Sabbir and Debashis scored one each for the winners.In the day’s other matches, Kurigram district beat Thakurgaon 4-2, Mymensingh outplayed Satkhira 8-2 and Faridpur beat Narayanganj 3-1 at the same venue.
After a recess on Sunday, four more matches will be held on Monday at the same venue.
