Staff Reporter: The Dhaka airport authorities on Thursday sent seven returnees landed from different countries, sent to a nearby hospital in the last 24 hours, the Airport Director confirmed it.
Group Captain AHM Touhid-ul-Ahsan, the Airport Director, said that all of those returnees were sent to the Kuwait-Bangladesh Maitree Hospital.
He said it at a press briefing held at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
The Director said also that on an average, 7,000 people were arriving a day, according to the data recorded in last few days of the airport.
