A deceiver named Athunu Bhattachariya(27) was rounded up from Chittagong court building premises on Tuesday . Chittagong Lawyers Association caught him from court area and later handed over to Kotwali thana police in city for alleged involvement with different types of deceiving incidents within the court building areas recently.
Kotwali thana officer incharge Md. Jasimuddin told that detained Athunu Bhattachariya is working as assistant under a lawyer in Chittagong court . It is alleged that he used to harass people with showing fake court summons since long, Bar association sources said.
During the raid of lawyers association against the touts in court premises on Tuesday , Athunu was detaianed by them, sources said.
Later, Asstt. Secretary of the association Advocate Md. Rashel lodged FIR against him after handing over to police, sources said.
