Law Minister Anisul Huq expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Bilkis Begum, mother of renowned news presenter Shamim Ahmed and Nafiz Imtiazuddin.
In a condolence message on Wednesday, the minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Bilkis Begum passed away at the Square Hospitals in the capital at the age of 88.
