Hollywood star Daniel Craig has also jumped into the female-James Bond debate. He questioned the need for the change up. For years now, fans of the franchise have debated if a woman should be brought in to play Ian Fleming’s famous spy in the movies, as Daniel prepares to hang up his boots after the upcoming No Time To Die. Daniel, however, believes that women deserve ‘just as good’ roles to be written for them. He said, “There should simply be better parts for women and actors of colour. ‘Why should a woman play James Bond’ when there should be a part just as good as James Bond, but for a woman?”
