A student of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (Cuet) was found dead on the rooftop of a multi-storey building in the city’s Boro Moghbazar area on Tuesday.
Informed by locals, police recovered the hanging body of Tanvir Hasan Sushan, 24, a 3rd year Mechanical Engineer student of Cuet and son of Majibur Rahman of Jamalpur district, around 9:20 am and sent it to Dhaka Medical College
Hospital, said Mosharraf Hossain, sub-inspector of Ramna Police Station.
Police found Tanvir hanging from an iron rod on the rooftop of the six-storey building in Boro Moghbazar area, the SI said.
Tanvir, who used to live at Asua in Sadar upazila of Mymensingh, arrived here with two other friends on April 3, Mosharraf said.
