Prof Dr. Monirul Islam of Sociology Department has been appointed as the new proctor.
The University Vice-chancellor Prof.Dr.ShireenAkter appointed him to the post for nextone year on Tuesday. At the same time ,Prof. Dr Kazi SM KhasrulAlamQuddusi of Public Administration department and Assistant Professor AhsanulKabirPalash of Islamic History and Culture department have also been appointed as a Povost of the Sir A F Rahman Hall and Assistant Proctor of the University respectively, said CU acting registrar KM Noor Ahmmed.
Monirul Islam is appointed as the tenure of previous proctor Prof. Ali Asgar Chowdhury of Communication and Journalism department completed on June 17.
