Chattogram Bureau :
Deputy Commissioner of Chattogram Mominur Rahman has said that Chittagong is 100 per cent ready to face the second wave of corona.
He made the remarks at an exchange meeting with journalists in the Chittagong District Administration Conference Room on Saturday (April 3) at 5:30 pm to discuss Chittagong’s preparations for increasing corona virus infection. Deputy Commissioner Mominur Rahman said, “Our capacity has increased more than last time.” The terrible situation in Chittagong at the beginning of the Corona epidemic is not the same this time. All the public and private hospitals which were prepared for corona treatment are now operational. There is no crisis between doctors and nurses. He added that there are 60 ICUs allocated for corona in different hospitals. Of these, 30 are in government hospitals and 50 in private hospitals. Although there are no ICU beds available at the moment, there are enough vacancies in hospitals.
