He said Chittagong led the anti-British movement and liberation war and Chittagong will remain in frontline to curb the militancy .
He said I am enlighted with the behavior of Chittagong people irrespective of caste and creed.
He disclosed it while addressing the reception function given to him by Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote , Chittgong District Unit at Chittagong Circuit House Conference Hall on Friday morning .
He expressed gratitudes to the people of Chittgong and said Ctg is the place of saints, intellectuals and aulia and darbesh . He calls upon the new generations to uphold the traditions of the heritage of Chittagong . The chief guest on the occasion City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin said Chittagong DC Mesbahuddin received best DC Award from the Prime Minister which enlightened the people of Chittagong .
