All courts of the country will remain shut from April 5 to April 9 as the government declared a public holiday in the period amid growing coronavirus risks.
A notification will be issued in this regard soon, said Md Saifur Rahman, a Special Officer of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court.
Some judges will, however, continue work for hearing and disposing of urgent cases including bail petitions.
Earlier on March 24, the SC authorities had issued a notification declaring closure for all courts till April 2 due to the global coronavirus outbreak.
