Spectators to be allowed to watch BPL

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has decided to allow the spectators, who can watch the upcoming Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket at the different venues across the country. The BPL is set to start from January 21.
After the deadly coronavirus outbreak, the local spectators got chance to watch the cricket of the three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series and two-match Test series between Bangladesh and Pakistan. It may be mentioned that the cricket fans got chance to watch the international cricket series after one and half years. The cricket fans, who received two doses of Covid-19 vaccine, will be allowed to watch the ensuing BPL Cricket.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the BCB Nizamuddin Chowdhury Sujan said, ” We have not yet decided to how many spectators will be allowed to watch the matches of BPL. But at least 50 percent spectators can watch the forthcoming matches of BPL.”
Sujan said, ” The Governing Council of BPL has not decided how many cricket fans will get opportunity to watch the matches as the tournament will start within four weeks.”
