Chittagong Bureau :The annual conference of the Bangladesh Human Rights Commission, Chittgong North District chapter was held in Chittagong on Saturday with President of the North District Niaz Morshed Elit in the chair. President of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mahbubul Alam and the President o Chittagong Press Club Kalim Sarwar graced the occasion as Chief Guest and special guest respectively. Secretary General of HRC Saiful Islam Didar delivered address of welcome in the opening ceremony. The chief guest in his brief d eliberations urged the human rights workers to play courageous role in discharging their duties. President of the press club in his address pointed out that the numbers of fake human rights workers increased at large extents impersonating themselves as human rights workers with holding forged visiting cards . He cautioned the conscious persons to remain alert against the fake HR workers. Among others, General Secretary of HRC of North District Abul Bashar, panel mayor Hasan Mahmud Hasni, Ln. Sohel Ahmed, Divisional coordinator Satera gaffer, city HRC President Abul Hashem, councilor Hasan Murad Biplab, councilor Abeda,councilor Anjuman Ara were present on the occasion.
