The death toll from Covid-19 in Bangladesh rose to 3,625 with the death of 34 more patients in the last 24 hours until Saturday.
Besides, the health authorities detected 2,644 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of confirmed cases to 2,74,525, according to a press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Country’s labs have so far tested 13,41,648 samples with 12,899 in the last 24 hours.
Besides, 1,012 patients made recovery during the period, taking the number of total recoveries to 1,57,635.
Bangladesh reported its first cases on March 8.
Coronavirus cases were first reported in China in December last year.
