In the last 24 hours, 1,390 samples were tested and 260 new corona cases were detected . A total of 25 thousand 594 people were affected so far till today . One person died in Chattogram during last 24 hours.
According to a report released by the Civil Surgeon’s Office on yesterdsay morning, samples were tested at Cox’s Bazar Medical College Lab and six labs in the port city. In the Chattogram University lab, 113 samples were tested and 35 people were traced with corona. 490 samples were tested at the Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID).
21 people were identified in it. Corona virus was found in the bodies of 120 people after testing 363 samples in Chattogram Medical College (CMC) lab. 106 samples were tested in the lab of Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University where 16 people came positive in it. Besides, 69 samples tested in Imperial Hospital Lab, 109 samples in Chevron Clinical Laboratory and 18 samples tested in Chittagong Maa O Shishu Hospital Lab and. 17 samples were tested in the Regional TB Referral Laboratory (RTRL) of the General Hospital where a total of 68 patients found positive.
Cox’s Bazar Medical College Lab tested 65 samples where found no corona virus in anyone’s body. Chattogram Civil Surgeon Sheikh Fazle Rabbi said 260 new cases had been identified in the last 24 hours.
On this day 1,390 samples were tested. Among the new victims, 212 were in the city and 48 in the upazilas .
