The third death anniversary of the helmsman of the journalist community , former President of National Press Club, BFUJ , Special Correspondent of BSS, Special Bangladesh Correspondent of Voice of America, founder advisor of Swadhin Sangbad Patak Samity, unparallel journalist of the country Gias Kamal Chowdhury was held at Chittagong Press club auditorium recently with Journalist SM Jamaluddin in the chair.
Former Mayor Alhaj Mahmudul Islam Chowdhiry graced the occasion as chief guest. Organising secretary of the Patak Samity Md. Nazimuddin conducted the programme as moderator.
Chairman of Chittagong Journalist Housing Society and veteran journalist Moinuddin Kaderi Showkat graced the occasion as special guest.
The special guest in his brief deliverations said Gias Kamal chowdhury was a unparallel journalist of the country and he was the helmsman of the journalist community. His contribution to the well being of the journalists is unforgettable, he added.
