Congress allowed illegal immigration in Assam: Amit

BJP national president, Amit Shah on Friday said that Congress has allowed illegal immigrants from Bangladesh to enter Assam for vote bank politics. Illegal immigrants have posed threat to national security.
Shah who was addressing the workers rally in Upper Assam’s Dibrugarh sounded poll bugle for the 2016 assembly polls. He said, “Congress has left the international border unattended. Illegal immigrants from Bangladesh enter India not only took away jobs of the locals but as posed security threat to the nation.”
Justifying the land swap deal with Bangladesh, Shah said this will enable the country to secure the border and build fencing along the international border. ” Assam chief minister, Tarun Gogoi is talking to All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) for alliance. A party which is talking to AIUDF how can check the illegal immigrants from Bangladesh.”
He challenged Gogoi to discus with AIUDF in openly rather than sitting inside a room and discussing. Shah promised to make joint effort of Centre and state for tackling annual flood problem of Assam.
He promised that the railway tracks of Assam and Northeast India will be doubled.
