UN Chamber Music Society of the UN staff recreation council held a concert at Baruch Performing Art Centre in Manhattan, New York recently to mobilise funds for the Rohingyas living in Bangladesh.
Brooklyn Raga Massive extended cooperation in arranging the concert held in New York on Monday evening, said the Permanent Mission of Bangladesh to the UN on Wednesday. A concert was organised in New York’s Manhattan on Monday with a message of providing assistance to the displaced Rohingya people of Myanmar.
Assistant secretary-general for UN Human Rights Andrew Gilmour reiterated UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres’ call for assisting the Rohingyas at the concert for humanity and welcomed the initiative.
