The Ministry of Commerce on Thursday signed the Annual Performance Agreement (APA) for 2018-19 fiscal with its eight subordinate bodies aimed at accelerating government’s work and enhancing accountability and transparency.
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed was present as the chief guest at the function.
Commerce Secretary Shubhashish Bose and heads of the eight subordinate bodies signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions, said a press release.
The bodies are Bangladesh Tea Board, Bangladesh Tariff Commission, Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI), Import and Export Authority, Trading Corporation of Bangladesh, National Consumer Rights Protection Authority, Joint Stock Company and Export Promotion Bureau.
