A College student was killed and Five were injured in a clash between two rival groups at Nagua in the town on Monday evening over supremacy.
The victim was identified as Farhad Masud Bijoy (20), son of Abdur Rahman, a HSC student in Nikli College.
Officer – in -Charge (OC) of Kishoreganj Model Police station Abu Bakker Siddique PPM told the New Nation that receiving information Police rushed to the spot and body was recovered.
The dead body was sent to mourge for autospy.
Police brought the situation under control.
Police also arrested Poura Councillor Yahaqub Sumon in this connection.
A case was filed with Kishoreganj Model Police station in this connection.
