An honours student was killed by road accident in Kishoreganj on Saturday noon.
The victims was identified as Farzana Akhter Mukti (21), an honours second year student in Accounting of Wali Newaz Khan College, Kishoreganj . Apart from her studies, she was also active in humanitarian and social activities.
The tragic accident took place on Saturday noon on Kishoreganj-Bhairab regional Highway at Binnati area of Kishoreganj Sadar.
When contact to Kishoreganj Model Police Station Officer -in -Charge (OC) Mohammad Daud said Farzana Akhter was killed in an accident while driving a training car on the Kishoreganj-Bhairab Highway around 12pm on Saturday.
Witnesses told police that a Kishoreganj-bound bus hit the training car from the opposite direction and it fell into a ditch next to it. Farzana Akhter Mukti died on the spot after being seriously injured.
