CCTV surveillance system has been installed at the Arts Building and Lecture Theater Building of Dhaka University yesterday.
Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin) Prof Dr Shahid Akhtar Hossain inaugurated it as the Chief Guest at a function held at Arts Building premises yesterday.
Dean of the Faculty of Arts of DU Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman and other faculty members were present on this occasion.
DU Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin) Prof. Dr. Shahid Akhtar Hossain hoped that the newly- installed CCTV surveillance system would play an effective role to protect social misdeeds and maintain congenial academic atmosphere on the campus.
