Chattogram City Corporation Mayor Rezaul Karim Chowdhury said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given many mega projects for the development of the port city Chattogram. They have been implemented or are going to be implemented in phases. . In this case, City Corporation and Chittagong Development Authority are one of the service companies involved in the development of Chittagong. These two govt agencies need to work together and continue their efforts to build Chittagong as an international standard city by implementing mega projects through mutual coordination.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the closing ceremony of a two-day program on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the Chittagong Chapter of the Institute of Architects at the Institute of Engineers auditorium here on Saturday.
Speaking as the special guest, Chairman of Chittagong Development Authority Zahirul Alam Dobhas said that the cooperation of every service organization including CCC is required for the development of Chittagong and implementation of all the projects which are the responsibility of Chittagong Development Authority. We can’t blame each other in any way. Therefore, if the projects can be implemented under an integrated management, the welfare and welfare of not only Chittagong but the whole country will be ensured. He called upon the new generation of architects to apply creative thinking in infrastructural installations for the economic development of the country.
