Canadian PM’s warm welcome to Muslim refugees

THE New Nation reported that Canada received the first batch of 163 Syrian refugees on Saturday in Montreal, which is part of 300 Syrian migrants, scheduled to arrive in the city this week. Newly elected Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made the event most passionate receiving the refugees to ‘shows the world how to open heart’ to give homes to rootless war refugees. Needless to say, his move came at a time when the USA and European countries have lost much of the drive complicating the Syrian refugee issue with growing terrorist threats. But Canada stands firm to receive 25,000 Syrian refugees by the end of February and this is in addition to those who have already arrived in Canada on private initiative.
The newly elected liberal government in Ottawa is committed to save as many people as they can showing the true face of love and compassion that the Canadian people have always stood for and also ready to make new sacrifices. It deserves to be applauded by people everywhere for Canada’s Prime Minister Mr. Justin Trudeau’s physical presence in the event for showing respect to the unlucky refugees from Syria.
The USA and European countries have shown they are equally committed to a high level of human values and the vast majority of their people are similarly ready to show humanity for the rehabilitation of Syrian war refugees who fled an internal war in their country.
If the Canadian example is a pathfinder as an example of warm humanity, the socio-political troubles that the extreme right groups in the USA and some European countries are creating to block the rehabilitation will not be able to derail the EU’s refugee resettlement programme. Europe and USA are guided by the principle of liberty, equality and freedom for all in multiracial societies where small ultra-nationalist groups will not be able to destroy the ideals that the Western civilization stands for.
One thing the Western countries must not forget is that most of the Syrian refugees will like to go back Syria if the world allows their country to be safe for civilized living. Those people are not economic refugees.
