Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Atiqul Islam on Wednesday visited activities of ‘combing operation’ at Mirpur and Gabtoli area.
He urged people to be aware and keep their houses, offices and surrounding areas clean.
Mayor said fine would be imposed if Aedes larvae are found under his city corporation.
The DNCC mayor said, inspection teams will visit houses in each area during the combing operation and if they find Aedes larvae in any of those, they will hang a notice which reads ‘Aedes larvae were found at this house’ there.
