CAAB, Southtech sign deal on e-governance

Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) recently signed an agreement with Southtech Limited for the “Implementation of ICT and e-Governance including Networking, Automation and Computerization of CAAB on Turnkey basis”, says a press release.
Md. A. Hamid Zamadder, Director, Central Engineering Maintenance and Stores Unit (CEMSU) of CAAB and Syed Mamnun Quader, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Southtech Limited, signed the agreement in a ceremony held at CAAB Headquarters in the city’s Kurmitola.
A joint venture consortium, led by Southtech Limited, a renowned IT software company in the country, won this competitive bid to implement the project, the press release said.
