Students of Social Welfare Club of Daffodil International School (DIS) have extended their helping hand towards the flood-affected people of the country. In regard to this, they handover 240 packets of relief goods to the relief fund of Directors of Student Affairs (DSA) of Daffodil International University (DIU) on Monday.
Syed Mizanur Rahman Raju, Director of Students’ Affairs, DIU, Prof AMM Hamidur Rahman, Dean, Humanities and Social Science, Saleem Ahmed, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Dr Md. Mahmudul Hasan, Advisor, Shahana Khan, Principal and Rahima K Mirza, Vice Principal of DIS were present.
Rahima K Mirza said that our beloved students who are the members of Social Welfare Club of DIS have collected and organized the aids promptly under the guidance of the mentors in a very short period of time. Students have been bought rice, oil, saline and many other relief product for flood affected people considering the miseries of the victims and saving their Tiffin money and ensuing Eid gift.
These social activities will surely spur the compassionate sprits among our students and will help them to grow up as an empathetic human being.
