Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) in Kishoreganj Zone Executive Engineer Mohammad Ali has been suspended over graft allegations.
The BWDB issued an order in his regard on Sunday.
It is alleged that the Executive Engineer has prepared two tender documents for survey works of a number of projects and he embezzled tk.4 lakh placing forged bills without doing any projects works in the 2019-20 fiscal year. The Ex.-Engineer Mohammad Ali embezzled core and cores taka many BWDB projects in haor areas.
Suspended Ex.-Engineer Md.Ali denied the allegations brought against him.
But High Officials said the allegation was found true that during the BWDB investigation.
